French-Speaking Administrator – Chateau du Tertre
After graduating from University with a degree in French and Latin, I looked
for a job where I could utilise my French language skills. PGL offered exactly
the sort of roles I wanted.
On a day-to-day basis I am responsible for a wide variety of
tasks from dealing with phone enquiries and making calls to french
suppliers/maintenance companies to accounting responsibilities including
purchase orders, banking, petty cash and invoices. Every day is different which
means I always have new tasks to challenge my language skills.
I have become so much more confident in myself and my
ability to speak French in front of others. My language skills have vastly
improved and my vocabulary has become more extensive.
Working for PGL is an opportunity not to be missed. I have
made invaluable, lifelong friends and been to various sights. Both have left me
with lasting memories. There is a friendly, fun-working atmosphere and all
sorts of opportunities to progress. I have never looked back!
