OneE provides a structured training plan for our graduates when they join the firm. Candidates will spend the first few months working with various teams to learn our internal processes and client service offerings. Our graduates are buddied up with a senior graduate who will show them the ropes and provide day-to-day support.
In addition to this training, we provide external tax training to study for the ATT and CTA qualifications. Our chosen training provider is Tolley’s Tax Training, who are renowned in the industry. Usually, our employees take their first ATT exam after one years’ service. Exams are sat every six months (in May and November) and salary is linked to successful completion of each one. In order to boost candidates' chances of exam success - and streamline professional development - we also provide generous periods of study leave.
After two years in the graduate team, our employees are given a bespoke career plan, tailored to complement their own skills and attributes. This will allow them to specialise in a particular area of our business such as client care, provision of fiduciary services, product development, tax advisory, business development or management.
On passing the CTA exams, we put together a detailed three-year plan for our employees to ensure that their career progression is continued to be matched to salary.
It is hugely important to us that career development plans are put in place at the two-year mark, and when achieving CTA status, to ensure that our employees always have clear objectives to work towards and can develop a variety of skills that are essential for success in the workplace.
