We’re looking to recruit a graduate with flair and motivation to join our 12 month graduate placement programme, offering you a huge amount of invaluable business experience. You’ll work collaboratively with your line manager to set objectives at the beginning of the placement, which focus on business needs as well as your professional development. Your line manager will support you during your placement and will review your progress and development on a regular basis.

12 month Graduate Placement - Experiential Marketing 

What’s your role?

As the Experiential Marketing Intern you will be required to develop and implement a new and exciting business venture at PRUK. The new business concept integrates the core business objective at PRUK of ‘Shaping the Nations Drinking Experience’ through experiential marketing. You will be required to assist on the events and experiential marketing projects that the team lay on for employees and consumers. 

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast paced, exciting industry and contribute to a project which, if successful, will become a key asset for the business.

Key Purpose

• To develop and test Pernod Ricard UK’s direct-to-consumer experiences
• To support the Experiential Team in delivering stand-out experiential activities and events
• To evaluate completed events against set objectives and present these back to the wider business

What can you expect?

Here are just some of the things you will be required to do throughout the placement year:

• Create, plan, develop and implement the test pilots required for this project
• Manage budgets and on-going costs for the project 
• Devise, manage and implement all activity taking place in all areas
• Write and devise a 12-18 month activity/development plan 
• Liaise with and update the Senior Brand Manager, digital teams and other key stakeholders involved on this project
• Liaise with venues, agencies, designers, printers, events staffing and brand teams to ensure effective execution of events and experiential activity
• Attend and assist at events and experiential occasions throughout the year 
• Seek out and implement adhoc opportunities to strengthen the success of this project
• Keep up to date with industry news and trends to help fuel the project

In return we’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious individual with great interpersonal skills and a passion for enhancing the consumer experience.

What do we require? 

You will have recently graduated with a 2:1 or above in an Events or Marketing Management related degree. You will have a strong academic track record and have a minimum of 300 UCAS points over three subjects at A Level (or equivalent).

In addition to this, applicants must:

• Have an understanding of the UK market when it comes to nightlife and experiential marketing 
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit and business mind set
• Be happy to work independently when required
• Be happy to work some anti-social hours if required 
• Have strong project management skills
• Have strong communication skills
• Works well under pressure and can work to deadlines
• Be digitally savvy
• Have eligibility to unrestrictedly work and live in the UK for the duration of the placement
• Be available to work for 12 months

The placement will commence in July 2017 for successful candidates, and will be based in our West London offices in Chiswick. Current salary is £18,000 per annum, with 25 days holiday plus additional benefits.
