The role:

As an Account Development Executive, you will be working with our retail and wholesale partners to maximise brand impact and increase our market share. You’ll need to be results focused and ambitious, but you also need to be fun to work with! 

In your day-to- day role, you will be responsible for around 50-70 accounts. These accounts will be based in the off-trade sector (products are bought on site, but consumed offsite) and will include smaller retailers, wholesalers, supermarkets, and more. Within these accounts, you will need to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and be comfortable communicating with a range of levels of seniority – your role requires you to have a good understanding of the businesses you are working with, so you are likely to encounter general managers, members of the purchasing team, shelf stackers, etc. 

You can expect to conduct 5-6 customer visits per day, which could involve a range of different activities, including: merchandising and promoting products in-store (where applicable), receiving feedback, exploring the client’s requirements and more. All of these activities are underpinned with the purpose of growing your accounts, which means you will need to attend each site having reviewed the sales figures for that account to identify opportunities for increased revenue. 

The individual:

Our future Account Development Executive should have:

• A mix of strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A dynamic and positive “can-do” attitude 
• Excellent negotiating abilities, an entrepreneurial spirit and pragmatism 
• An aptitude for planning and a flair for figures
• Integrity and ethics
• An excellent academic record with a minimum of 300 UCAS points over three subjects at A Level, and a 2:1 degree
• A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel within your territory
• Permission to work in the UK (original documentation may be requested)
• A passion for our brands and the wider drinks industry
• A great personality!

With our support, we hope you will be ready to progress towards a BDE role after 12-18 months, which will involve working with an account base of on-trade accounts (bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, etc.).
