We are a subsidiary of Biesse Group S.P.A, based in Pesaro, Italy which has grown to become a world leading manufacturer of high technology industrial machines for the woodworking, glass and stone industries. Our machinery is used to manufacture a wide range of products, from yacht interiors to table football tables! We even have Biesse machinery being used to complete Gaudi’s world-famous basilica in Barcelona.

As an organisation, we constantly strive for excellence by investing in our own and employee’s futures through innovation and enterprise. We are currently seeking a technically-minded and commercially-aware Installation Engineer to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Biesse Installation Engineer, you will be tasked with implementing the company’s first stage of their product life-cycle. You will take ownership of getting purchased pieces of machinery installed and fully operational at a client’s facility. In the event of difficulties arising, you will take initiative and seek to work through the problem, applying your training to complete a successful installation.

Training

A successful candidate will be awarded an extensive training package to bring them up to speed on everything required for this position. This will include, but is not limited to; on the job training shadowing experienced engineers and travel to both the Biesse Group UK & Italian headquarters for in-depth hands-on engineering training and support from your colleagues.

Learning & development will then continue throughout both this role and your career with Biesse Group, to further develop your skills and expertise.

Progression could come in the form of management opportunities, further engineering positions or even roles focused around the training of new installation engineers.

The Individual

A strong candidate for this role requires a mature attitude, an appetite to learn, an innate knack for problem solving and must be willing to take on a challenge! Practical engineering skills and/or experience (mechanical or electrical) would be required and qualifications such as an NVQ, HNC/HND or BTEC would be advantageous.

Salary and Benefits
